HOW TO AFFIX YOUR AZTEC METAL TILES

Tiles
The beauty of metal tiles is that they look absolutely stunning in whatever situation they are applied. They are also very utilitarian and present a clean and hygienic image to any kitchen or bathroom. Don't restrict yourself to just a traditional chequerboard pattern when fixing your tiles - let your imagination loose! They can be applied in diamond shapes rather than square, or intersperse them with ceramic or glass tiles for a more unusual effect. Even combinations of different metals produce exciting results. Maybe consider using the tiles on garden walls or other garden areas - the ideas are endless!

Fixing Your Aztec Metal Tiles

Once you have decided on your design, measured up and ordered your metal tiles, you need to ensure you have the right tools for cutting metal, such as a hack saw or diamond tile cutter. The tiles are fixed to the surface by using standard ceramic tile adhesive and grout. DO NOT remove the protective plastic cover from the tiles until you have completely finished fixing and grouting them. The plastic cover easily peels back once the fixing job is complete.

Cleaning Your Aztec Metal Tiles

Metal tiles are easy to keep clean - stainless steel tiles can be wiped clean with a warm, soapy cloth. If tiles become smeared or have other marks such as finger prints, wiping a little olive oil over the marks usually makes them disappear. Bronze, copper and brass tiles will need to be cleaned with appropriate cleaners. Laquered metal tiles will not need cleaning.
